The Power Procurement Group's services are segmented into three distinct activities that are related to Up Stream, Mid Stream
and Downstream business activities. These activities reflect a comprehensive support of all facets of the energy supply chain,
including production, consumption and accounting of energy services.
Upstream Services
Our Upstream Services generally apply to energy-related supply activities, from acquisition to point of consumption.
The Power Procurement Group's understanding of utility supplies, state and federal regulations, the independent power producer
market and related infrastructure are all critical to supporting this phase of work. Our services include:
- Strategic energy assessment
- Assessment of changing regulatory policies and impacts
- Resource identification and acquisition
- Off-Tariff contract negotiation
- Third-party energy commodity supply - solicitation and negotiation
- Evaluation of self-generation supply alternatives

Midstream Services
Our Midstream Services apply to those energy activities associated with management, consumption and control of energy
resources within an end-use consumer's facility, including:
- Identification of energy incentive funding opportunities
- Management of energy efficiency projects for demand and consumption reduction initiatives
- Outsourcing of self-generation supply projects, operations and maintenance - applicable to electric, chilled water, hot water and steam production
- Contract claims analysis and defense
Downstream Services
Our Downstream Services address support and management of energy transactions. We provide professionally managed support
of your energy billing processes including:
- Audit of historic energy bill payments, including accuracy of tariff applications or specialty contract interpretation
- Collection and documentation of historical energy consumption data
- Approval of energy bill payment cycle and identification of potential overcharges
- Measurement and documentation of current energy demand and consumption data
